The Truth about School Pictures - You don't have to pay a session fee to get your images in the yearbook!

The school’s contract photographer CANNOT charge a student a fee for a “yearbook image”. You are being forced to use the contract photographer for images that are going to be published in a yearbook that you WILL purchase later in the year. This is double charging for a product where you have no choice but to use the photographer hired by the school. Double charging for a product is illegal; espeically in cases where consumers (YOU) are not giving the choice of shopping for the best deal or quality of product that under everyday circumstnaces you would do! This is called “Restraint of Trade” and is a Federal and State violation.

If I don't buy photographs from the school photographer "THEY" won't put my senior picture in the yearbook!!!???

Yes........we heard this one SEVERAL times last year.!!??? This is America...they HAVE to put your senior photograph in the yearbook IF YOU had it made by them at school. They won’t follow you around or tap your phone to see where you spend your money. You can have your REAL senior images produced here by York’s Studio. The contract photographer, the yearbook advisor, the principal, everybody concerned on the school’s end of this deal CAN NOT TELL YOU WHERE TO SPEND YOUR MONEY.

I want to have my York's Studio senior images in the yearbook!!!

Yes....we would like for you to have that as well.........as it stands right now....NONE of the area’s high schools are allowing you to have that freedom of choice. You can have images from York’s Studio placed in the “Student honor pages” st the end of the yearbook that you pay EXTRA for. Sounds kinda funny doesn’t it..........you are already paying for the yearbook........???WHY don’t you have a choice about the senior images in the senior section of the yearbook......if you pay extra for a page at the back you get to have a choice???!!
